Joan Visitor registration at ABB

ABB was looking for an efficient way to register visitors and employees, both at the office and on site. To improve safety and oversight, ABB not only wants to know who is visiting, but also wants real-time insight into which employees are present at the office.

IKANDA advised ABB to use the Joan Visitor Management App for efficient registration of visitors and employees. The app was integrated with ABB's existing badge system via an API link. This means that employees who enter the building with their badge are automatically registered in the system, which is crucial for a correct attendance list in the event of evacuations. And this is now combined with the visitors present in the building via the Joan API.

The Joan app is used at the construction site to manage access: employees scan a QR code upon arrival, which immediately records their presence. This approach ensures smooth registration and increases safety at all locations.
