Outlook Room Booking software at Nederlandse Vereniging van Banken
The Dutch Banking Association was looking for one all-in-one solution that allows you to book rooms and fill out an order form at the same time. For this, IKANDA recommended Resource Central from Add-On Products. Resource Central is a reservation system with which you can book rooms based on criteria you define yourself (location, size, facilities, ...) and this in combination with ordering catering & other services. Moreover, the tool is fully integrated with Exchange so that users can access these extra possibilities directly from Outlook.
A custom report also linked NVB's meeting room reservations to the visitor registration system of the multitenant building in which NVB's offices are located.

The Resource Central software allows you to easily search and book meeting rooms based on self-selected filters such as: country, building, size or capacity of the meeting rooms, available IT equipment, presence of an interactive screen, possibility of booking catering, videoconferencing tools available, etc…
When scheduling a meeting, you can also immediately check the availability of colleagues by day and hour. Rooms can also be searched and reserved via a floor plan.
Ordering catering and other services
NVB wanted to add simultaneous room booking, catering or other services from the same tool. This is perfectly possible with the Resouce Central add-on with which you can add an order form. Through this customizable order form you can order catering, pass on the number of people if it differs from the number in the Outlook invitation, pass on a new table setup or arrange additional things such as ordering wifi codes or booking parking spaces.
Service providers receive the order forms automatically and can get started immediately or they can create reports by day or by location to combine orders.
