Video Conferencing & Room Reservation at SOR
At Stichting Ouderenhuisvesting Rotterdam (SOR) in the Netherlands, we equipped 4 meeting rooms with Yealink videoconferencing devices and with i3 interactive touch screens for optimal presentation, brainstorming and Microsoft Teams video meetings. SOR uses Office 365 and was also looking for a solution for booking their 7 meeting rooms with additional services (ordering catering, inviting visitors, choosing from multiple locations, etc.) and for booking their 34 parking spaces. Add-On Products' Resource Central meets all the requirements for this. IKANDA also equipped each meeting room with a Room Booking Display that shows all reservations.
Yealink Video conferencing
IKANDA has fully equipped 4 meeting rooms at SOR with Yealink equipment for video conferencing and wireless presenting.
The Yealink MeetingBar A20 is an all-in-one video conferencing device, ideal for small to medium-sized meeting rooms. It features a 20-megapixel camera with a 120° field of view, and uses AI technology for features such as Auto Framing and Speaker Tracking.
The CTP18 s a touch panel that works seamlessly with the A20, allowing users to easily start and end meetings.
The WPP30 is a wireless presentation pod that provides effortless and fast content sharing. At the touch of a button, users can share their screen without the hassle of cables.
The VCH51 is a sharing box that supports HDMI sharing and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) mode, allowing users to easily connect and use their own devices, as well as switching from Microsoft Teams to other platforms (Google, Zoom, Webex, ...).
Together, the Yealink A20, CTP18, WPP30 and VCH51 form a powerful and easy-to-use solution for modern meeting rooms, with both video and audio quality and ease of use at its core.
Add-On Resource Central
SOR was looking for an all-in-one Outlook solution for booking their meeting rooms combined with additional services and for booking their parking spaces. The Outlook plug-in Resource Central is the perfect solution for this.
Book meeting rooms: Book meeting rooms: the Resource Central plug-in is ideal for room bookings based on availability and on a lot of self-defined filters (size of the room, video conferencing or touch screen present, ...) and according to the employees' agenda.
Catering reservation: Catering can be ordered together with the booking of the meeting rooms via an order form that allows the organiser to specify numbers, requirements, table arrangement and a cost centre. Service providers receive incoming orders directly and any changes or cancellations are automatically updated.
Reserve parking spaces, cars or bikes: Resource Central is not limited to rooms only. Anything that can be booked can be added (laptops, beamers, flipcharts, workstations, etc.).
Visitor registration: with the Resource Central Outlook plug-in, the reception staff can also check in visitors, and print or scan badges to keep track of registered visitors.
i3 Interactive Touch Displays
We have equipped 4 meeting rooms with i3 Interactive touch screens.
The i3TOUCH E-ONE screens from i3-Technologies are versatile and durable interactive displays. The touch screens use advanced infrared technology and zero air gap, providing an excellent multi-touch experience and a natural writing feel. With Android 11 and pre-installed i3STUDIO software, the E-ONE provides all the essential tools for whiteboarding, annotating, presenting and video conferencing.
Remote Display Management (i3RDM) allows remote management of the E-ONE, providing convenience and efficiency. The display also supports a simple one-cable connection via USB-C for audio, video, power and touch, further enhancing ease of use.
With integrated speakers and the ability to add a camera, the i3TOUCH E-ONE is a powerful and cost-effective solution for hybrid meetings.
Room Booking Displays
We have equipped all meeting rooms at SOR with a meeting room display.
Room booking displays are screens specially designed to facilitate the booking of meeting rooms. These displays are usually placed at the entrance to meeting rooms and show room availability at a glance. You can book, extend or cancel meetings directly on the screen.
Many of our room booking displays integrate seamlessly with existing calendar and email systems such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, making them easy to use. They also offer features such as displaying scheduled meetings and finding alternative available rooms. Thanks to their user-friendly interface and versatile functionality, room booking displays contribute to more efficient use of meeting rooms and smoother organisation of meetings.
